Wishpond Technologies currently has the position of Lead Generation Manager available, and we're excited to tell you about it   OVERVIEW We are looking for a Lead Generation Manager, a visionary leader with a sharp strategic mind and the drive to transform data, people, and processes into growth, to join our team on a full-time basis.  This is a fully remote position, and the successful individual could be based anywhere in the world. You will work with an amazing remote team servicing and building relationships with clients primarily based in the US and Canada.  As a Lead Generation Manager, you will oversee the database research, collection, and quality control process. In collaboration with the entire team, you'll be responsible for supporting the overall success of Wishpond Technologies by ensuring that our lead generation systems are accurate, efficient, and scalable.
This role combines strategic thinking, data management, and team leadership to deliver a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads that drive business growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Optimize and control the database research and lead the collection process.
• Supervise a team of internal researchers to meet the company's standards and targets.
• Validate and QC databases daily, processing leads for accuracy and email verification.
• Administer databases for a variety of industries and brands.
• Maintain logs and reports of data collection criteria, processes, and KPIs.
• Ensure the data research and collection process is scalable and repeatable.
• Process databases for email verification.
• Conduct and supervise professional social network research to identify potential leads.
• Collaborate with and support the SDR and Email Deliverability teams.
• Provide daily updates on staff performance and project progress.
• Recruit, onboard, and train researchers, equipping them with the skills to excel in lead qualification and pipeline development.
• Foster a high-performance culture through clear goals, recognition, and continuous feedback.
• Act as a mentor and role model, inspiring the team to achieve their full potential.
• Optimize workflows, tools, and technologies to enhance team efficiency and collaboration.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in outreach, communication, and lead nurturing.
• Manage workloads and resources effectively across the team, balancing productivity and quality.
• Provide regular updates on team performance, project progress, and campaign outcomes to senior leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or database research role.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience supervising or leading staff (preferably remote).
• Strong command of CRM and marketing automation tools.
• Proven experience with data analysis, campaign tracking, and reporting.
• Experience in an unstructured and fast-paced startup environment is an asset.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to set and achieve goals.
• As part of a diverse team, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Must be a problem solver and results-driven.
• Must be Tech-savvy and administratively strong.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Intermediate to advanced Word, PowerPoint and Excel Skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• This is a 100% remote position, and the individual could be based anywhere in the world
• The individual must be prepared to work standard business hours based on either PST or EST
• Due to the nature of this role, we may verify backgrounds, including conducting employment references, criminal records, and credit checks
• Once hired, the successful candidate must provide a valid government-issued photo ID, proof of SIN and proof of residential address as part of their onboarding process
