Location: 100% Remote Position
Happy Mammoth is a fast-growing e-commerce company focused on women's gut, digestive, and hormonal health. We're looking for a highly technical Retention & Klaviyo Engineer Specialist to own email, SMS, and lifecycle automations across our global customer base.

What You'll Do

  • Build & schedule email and SMS campaigns (build from Figma to Klaviyo)
  • Create and optimize flows with advanced triggers and logic
  • Use dynamic variables to pull custom properties from Recharge, Shopify, Rivo, Wonderment, etc
  • Manage segmentation and ensure correct entry/exit logic
  • Monitor and suggest improvements for deliverability
  • Set up integrations (Zapier, webhooks, app connections)
  • Support the team with technical troubleshooting and process improvements

Requirements

  • Expert-level Klaviyo (campaigns, flows, segments, variables)
  • Strong experience in email/SMS retention, preferably in DTC/e-commerce
  • Ability to understand customer journey logic and event-triggered automations
  • Experience with subscription tools (Recharge) and Shopify data
  • Great attention to detail — nothing goes live without checks
  • Strong communication and ability to work autonomously

Nice to Have

  • Basic HTML/CSS for simple pages inside Klaviyo
  • Knowledge of deliverability tools (e.g., Google Postmaster)
  • Experience with Zapier, webhooks, Attentive
