Traffic Manager
Summary
We are looking for a highly organized, empathetic, and operationally minded Traffic Manager to support the Lilly account at R/GA. This role ensures clarity, efficiency, and healthy workflow across internal teams (Creative, Strategy, CE).
This is not a client-facing role, but it requires excellent communication, strong relationship skills through all levels of the team, and the ability to keep teams aligned. Over time, this person may grow into a Project Management role.
Responsibilities
Workflow coordination
- Maintain full visibility into team workloads, priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
- Ensure tasks, deliverables, and information moves smoothly across teams.
- Organize assets, documents, and processes for clarity and accessibility.
- Keep teams aligned on deadlines, changes, and expectations.
- Know when teams and projects require travel, and plan who will be traveling and knock on effects for projects.
Internal communication
- Adapt communication style based on personality, seniority, and context (Slack, calls, follow-ups).
- "Chase" for information or deliverables in a friendly, effective, and professional way.
- Capture and document key updates (notes, tasks, next steps, status).
- Facilitate internal meetings and ensure team members have what they need.
- Keep team tracking document and master schedule document updated.
Team pulse management
- Identify problems, frustrations, workload issues, and opportunities within teams.
- Maintain open conversations to understand internal dynamics.
- Escalate relevant information with a solutions-first mindset.
- Act as a support system for Creative, Strategy, and CE teams.
Project Management support
- Learn PM tools and processes (prioritization, documentation, tracking).
- Support planning and organization without owning full project delivery initially.
- Assist in building schedules and documentation when needed.
- Track PTO and travel.
