Our client is a long-standing jewelry retailer serving a predominantly Latino customer base. As the business moves into a larger and more modern retail space, it is strengthening its digital presence to ensure consistent brand communication. While the physical store evolves, maintaining the brand's cultural alignment, approachable personality, and strong customer relationships remains essential. With limited current marketing activity and a Shopify site requiring frequent updates, the company is bringing in a dedicated marketing professional to support this next stage of growth.

Role OverviewThe E-Commerce Marketing Coordinator will manage the brand's digital channels across Shopify, social media, and customer-facing communications. This role is highly execution-focused, combining e-commerce operations, content production, and community engagement to maintain cohesive brand messaging and strengthen the brand's presence throughout the store's transition.
Key ResponsibilitiesShopify Management
Update homepage banners, promotions, brand messaging, and location information.
Upload, edit, and maintain products, descriptions, images, variants, tags, and collections.
Ensure the site remains visually consistent, accurate, and user-friendly.
Monitor basic site performance and keep the product catalog organized.
Support email list growth and light email marketing through Shopify or Klaviyo.
Social Media Management
Revive and maintain consistent activity across Instagram and Facebook.
Plan, create, and schedule weekly content including product spotlights, behind-the-scenes posts, store updates, educational content, promotions, and community moments.
Write captions and maintain a culturally aligned brand voice.
Respond to comments and messages to sustain engagement.
Track and report basic social metrics.
Brand Messaging & Customer Communication
Communicate store updates clearly to keep customers informed and connected.
Maintain and evolve the brand persona aligned with the upgraded store environment.
Build a cohesive storyline that connects the current store with the upcoming experience.
Assist in developing light creative assets to support messaging and promotions.
Creative & Content Production
Edit product and lifestyle photos for Shopify and social media.
Create simple promotional graphics using Canva.
Film or edit short-form videos for reels and stories when needed.
Community Engagement
Foster ongoing customer connection through daily interactions.
Maintain a warm, culturally aligned communication style.
Support WhatsApp messaging workflows when required.
Experience
2–4 years of experience in marketing coordination, e-commerce, or social media.
Hands-on Shopify experience.
Experience creating and managing consistent social media content.
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
Skills
Spanish fluency and cultural familiarity with Dominican/Latino communities.
Strong writing, creativity, and attention to detail.
Ability to execute independently while collaborating with ownership.
Photo editing, light graphic design (Canva), and short-form video editing skills.
Familiarity with Klaviyo, SMS tools, Meta Ads, or retail/jewelry environments (nice-to-haves).
A unified and elevated online presence reflecting the brand's personality and customer roots.
Shopify consistently updated with accurate products and clear information.
Stronger social activity, consistent posting, and measurable engagement growth.
Customers feeling informed, connected, and excited about the brand's evolution.
A digital foundation that supports increased foot traffic and long-term loyalty.
