Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - 7 years of experience in HR compliance, risk management, policy development, or employment legal - Ability to speak and write in English, Portuguese, and Spanish fluently Preferred qualifications: - Experience leading cross-functional global projects and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously - Knowledge of LATAM employment laws - Ability to work and form relationships with remote teams, and build personal networks across a complex, fast-moving organization - Excellent project management skills with a focus on drive and execution - Excellent communication and presentation skills **About the job**: As the HR Program Specialist, you’ll partner closely with teams across Google to drive programs and initiatives that enhance Google’s HR compliance strategy. You’ll work to identify compliance related vulnerabilities, and you’ll play an essential role in developing and implementing strategies to improve our HR practices. You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices. **Responsibilities**: - Design a strategy that drives HR Compliance excellence in our workplace practices and programs. Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Employee Relations, Ethics, and Engineering. - Partner with key stakeholders to build a HR compliance strategy that is locally relevant and globally consistent. Review current HR practices and policies to identify potential compliance risks and provide recommendations. - Provide country level program management for HR compliance, including project management of Integrity owned programs. Drive commitment from key stakeholders to meet HR Compliance strategies. - Support HR compliance programs pertaining to government reporting, working time, data privacy, and all other areas related to employment law. - Provide direction and consultation to local HR and other partners on country compliance matters, including mentoring and supporting their role.
