**Main Purpose**:

- Manage fixed assets (investments/capital expenditures) throughout their life cycle in accordance with the company’s management policy for all four Trafigura Group companies in Argentina
- Ensure internal control over fixed assets, from acquisition to disposal;
- Ensure appropriate use and physical safeguard of fixed assets; and
- Ensure that fixed assets’ reality is properly reflected in the company books

**Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities**:

- Co-ordinate with Accounting the structure and description of fixed assets
- Register acquisitions, modifications and retirement of fixed assets
- Co-ordinate with local teams the physical verification of assets (inventory)
- Identify non-compliances with Trafigura Fixed Asset Policy
- Answer Internal Control queries/audits
- Issue internal reports on fixed assets
- Tax valuation, depreciation and hyperinflation adjustment
- Reconcile Navision and Oracle modules (ERPs used across the Group’s companies)
- Impairment testing
- Define verification processes
- Keep log of verification documents
- Define fixed asset catalogue
- Liaise with Accounting to answer to external auditor’s queries

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Public Accountant graduate
- 4/5 years of experience in similar positions, preferably in fixed assets
- Fluent in English
- Good command of Microsoft Office, mainly Excel
- Knowledgeable in ORACLE, SAP, other ERPs (ideal, but not essential)
- Confident, organized, creative, resourceful and autonomous
- Good interpersonal skills, networking and teamworking
- Travel availability within Argentina
