You know your accounting principles and the full accounting process end to end. You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. You move fast while keeping your attention to detail, and you tap into your problem-solving skills to support business objectives. - As a Fixed Assets Accountant, you'll manage our set of transactions and processes for asset setup, modifications, retirements, month end close reporting, and reconciliation processes related to Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) accounts. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business. **Responsibilities**: - Work towards improvements of Google Fixed Assets (gFA) processes to improve quality standards in the fixed assets register, reconciliations, and reporting produced for local audits and close reporting. - Perform month end close tasks related to property, plant, and equipment area. - Prepare and present financial information to different audiences, including finance leaders, business partners, auditors, and regional accountants. - Discover efficiencies in the processes through elimination, automation, extended workforce, and escalate risks when detected.
