As a Statutory Accounting Lead, you will responsible for:

- Support and execute the preparation of local statutory accounting books and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and assisting with related filings.
- Assist, gather and organize financial and statistical information requested by local regulatory authorities in the countries where the company operates.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, Legal, and Operations, to collect and validate data required for statutory reporting.
- Coordinate with the Tax Department to support the preparation of tax-related information aligned with statutory financials.
- Provide support during external audits by preparing documentation, responding to auditor queries, and helping ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
- Help maintain and monitor internal controls related to statutory accounting and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and local standards.
- Participate in the implementation and use of systems and tools that support automation and efficiency in statutory accounting and compliance activities.
- Stay informed about changes in local accounting and regulatory requirements, and assist in assessing their impact on statutory reporting obligations.

**Required Skills and Expertise**

3 - 5 years of:

- Experience in the fields of accounting, specially in local books preparation and/or audit supports.
- Focus on goals and results
- Good communication & time management skills
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Excel Knowledge: Basic level of Excel, specifically in the use of pivot tables. Advanced knowledge in macros is not required.
- Intermediate English: Ability to communicate in English, as part of the team is based in the United States and Canada.SAP knowledge: Basic level of SAP/S4H would be valuable
