Role Overview As a Statutory Accounting Lead, you will support and execute the preparation of local statutory accounting books and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and assisting with related filings. Key Responsibilities Support and execute preparation of local statutory accounting books and financial statements. Assist, gather and organize financial and statistical information requested by local regulatory authorities. Collaborate with Finance, Legal and Operations to collect and validate data required for statutory reporting. Coordinate with the Tax Department to support preparation of tax‑related information aligned with statutory financials. Provide support during external audits by preparing documentation, responding to auditor queries and ensuring timely audit deliverables. Help maintain and monitor internal controls related to statutory accounting and reporting processes. Participate in the implementation and use of systems and tools that support automation and efficiency in statutory accounting. Stay informed about changes in local accounting and regulatory requirements and assess their impact on statutory reporting obligations. Qualifications & Skills 3–5 years of experience in accounting, specifically in local books preparation and/or audit support. Goal‑focused with a results orientation. Strong communication and time‑management skills. Ability to work under time pressure. Basic Excel knowledge (pivot tables). Advanced macros knowledge not required. Intermediate English communication skills. Basic SAP/S4H knowledge is a plus.
