Description
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team and lead the automation efforts for installing and configuring Citrix Virtual Delivery Agent (VDA) software on a farm of Windows servers.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Calypso DevOps team to streamline and automate the deployment process, ensuring efficiency and consistency across our server infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop automation scripts and procedures to facilitate the installation and configuration of Citrix VDA software on a predefined farm of Windows servers.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to integrate automation processes into our GitLab pipeline for seamless execution.
- Work closely with system administrators to understand server provisioning requirements and optimize the deployment process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during the automation process, ensuring mínimal disruption to server operations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the automation solution to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Document automation procedures, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.

**Requirements**:
**The Following Technical Experience is Relative to us**:

- 5+ years of multi-disciplinary experience supporting cloud hosted infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Scripting languages (PowerShell or Python).
- 3+ years Gitlab CI, Kubernetes
- +5 years of experience with Citrix and VDIs
- +5 years of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- +2 years of experience with Packer or similar
- Experience with Ansible Tower is a Nice To Have (Not mandatory)
