**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, or continuous integration/delivery.
- Experience in automation or coding/programming in languages such as Java, Python, Javascript, C++, Go.
- Experience with system design and development specific to automation and tools used for cloud platforms and migration
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) techniques such as prompt engineering, dual encoders, and embedding vectors.
- Experience with IaC and CICD tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate, and key management.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a part of the team that develops automations and tools to accelerate cloud migration. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of infrastructure/cloud developers, cloud migration consultants, architects, and other groups within Google Cloud to identify use cases for automation.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide domain expertise in cloud platforms and infrastructure, solving complex cloud platform challenges.
- Be a technical advisor and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical challenges for customers.
- Develop industrialized and scalable automation solutions which can be leveraged by cloud migration groups within Google to accelerate migration programs.
