Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Jenkins, etc.).
- Ability to travel 30% of the time as required.

Preferred qualifications:

- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Understanding of open source server software (i.e., NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch, etc.).
- Understanding of Developer Operations CI/CD concepts.

As a Web Solutions Engineer, you will be a part of the team that develops automations and tools to accelerate cloud migration. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of infrastructure/cloud developers, cloud migration consultants, architects, and other groups within Google Cloud to understand cloud migration and identify use cases for automation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop industrialized and scalable automation solutions which can be leveraged by cloud migration groups within Google to accelerate migration programs.
- Develop high-level and detailed technical designs and adhere to Google reference architecture.
