Venture Shares, an innovative alternative asset management start-up, is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful Hedge Fund Analyst to join our Special Opportunities fund incubation project.
This is a fully remote opportunity to work directly with the fund's managing director, contributing to research and analysis of special opportunities in emerging markets.
**Responsibilities**: Conduct thorough internet research and leverage free data sources to gather financial, political, and other relevant information pertaining to potential investment opportunities. Identify, generate, and engage with new business development prospects. Create high-quality, detailed reports that effectively explain complex topics in a concise manner within tight timeframes. Stay up-to-date with financial market trends and demonstrate knowledge of buy-side and sell-side industries.
**Skills & Qualifications**: Strong familiarity with ChatGPT and the Google Suite. Keen interest in public and private markets and a solid understanding of financial market dynamics. Knowledge of buy-side and sell-side industries. Exceptional research, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. As a Hedge Fund Analyst at Venture Shares, you will gain valuable experience in the alternative asset management sector while working alongside industry professionals.
