Description of Responsibilities
This is an opportunity to join a small team to work on a fresh end-to-end platform for a fast-growing dynamic technology-driven fixed-income asset manager. The role is to work with all members of the firm to evolve the software and platforms that support all the firm's activities.

Get involved in all aspects of IT, including infrastructure, vendors, tool selection, and support

**Requirements**:
Requirements
At a minimum, Ruby, Rails, Shell, Linux, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (Mongo)
Python, R, Go are nice to have

**Qualifications**:

- Strong knowledge of ruby, rails, web services, databases, shell scripting on Linux and other modern technology platforms
- Good understanding of key design principles for software architecture and development
- Understanding of the workflows and functions of a hedge fund is preferred
- Experience in fixed income and mathematical / quantitative analytic skills are also a plus
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to own work from problem to resolution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with a small, close team
