Avenga is looking for a skilled Lead Business Analyst/Product Owner to join our team full-time. Our client is a leading multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, and Italy. They build better lotteries that return more to good causes by focusing on innovation, technology, efficiency, and safety across a growing casual gaming entertainment portfolio. The client’s purpose is to make play better for all and their mission is to be a trusted and proactive guardian of all that is good in lotteries and casual gaming entertainment.

As a Lead Business Analyst/Product Owner will drive strategic business initiatives by analyzing complex business processes, eliciting requirements, and translating them into actionable solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate change, optimize processes, and ensure our business solutions meet both operational and strategic goals.

- Product management experience in lottery, iGaming or gambling
- Strong analytical skills with a solid background in system analysis and solution design
- Deep expertise in iGaming ecosystems, gambling platforms, and player behavior
- Proven experience in system integration and API architecture
- Skilled in managing real-time, high-volume transaction systems in critical environments
- Well-versed in gambling regulations, compliance, and licensing across multiple regions
- Track record of leading complex custom software projects in agile settings
- Excellent communicator, adept at managing stakeholders in international, cross-functional teams
- Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and agile tools
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency, confident in technical and professional communication

- Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to define and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business goals
- Lead product development cycles and sprint planning, prioritizing backlog items effectively
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into detailed user stories
- Create data flow and context diagrams to visualize system interactions and architecture
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clarity and delivery of business value
- Act as the product ambassador and main technical contact for product-related inquiries
- Provide clear specifications and documentation for the development team
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
