As the** IT Manager** at Parser, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction, management, and implementation of all internal information technology initiatives within the organization alongside the Director of IT & Security and the Head of Security.

You will also lead a team of IT professionals, ensuring the efficient operation, security, and optimization of the company's technology infrastructure.

As the IT Manager you are expected to collaborate with various departments to align IT strategies with business goals, drive innovation, and enhance operational efficiency.

**Reporting to**: Director of IT & Security at Parser

The Impact You'll Make - Core Areas:

- Develop and execute the organization's IT strategy alongside the Director of IT & security and the Head of security, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including IT support, IT implementations, security proactive patching and security first response.
- Manage the IT budget, forecasting expenditures, and optimizing resource allocation to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization's IT strategy.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the IT department.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with external vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing vendor performance.
- Participate in developing and enforcing IT policies, security and privacy procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices such as ITIL, ISO 27001 and GDPR.
- Managing and supporting company collaboration tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Azure, Slack, BambooHR, Xero, Atlassian, etc.

What You'll Bring To Us:

- 4+ years experience in an IT leadership role
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Experience with Invgate or similar IT ticket system for customer service requests.
- Experience with Windows & Mac devices alike.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, including data privacy regulations under the ISO 27001 framework and GDPR.
- Experience managing IT budgets, financial forecasting, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong stakeholder experience, with an ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organizations, and externally, and communicate with non-technical audiences
- Hands-on experience & experience in startup environments is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written both in English and Spanish, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships with peers, leaders, and clients.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) are a plus.
