Team Overview:
As part of the broader Central Ops organization, as a Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring, structuring, and executing all aspects related to pricing—from tracking marketplace dynamics to improving user experience—all while driving towards business and financial goals. A key focus of this role will be to optimize marketplace efficiency through data-driven pricing decisions that balance supply and demand effectively. You will build frameworks and generate insights that simplify marketplace understanding and help anticipate future behaviors within the ride-hailing business.
Role Responsibilities:
- Work on the region’s pricing strategy with the leadership team;
- Create frameworks to improve decision-making;
- Process and analyize data to understand user behavior, generating actionable insights;
- Manage cross-functional decisions. Make sure every area is aligned with our tactical guidelines while contributing towards the same goal.
- Develop a methodology to optimize pricing decisions.
- Collaborate with different areas like operations, marketing, product, and growth
Role Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Economics, Engineering, Business Administration or other relevant degrees)
- 4+ years of experience in revenue management, consultancy, investment banking, financial planning & analysis, business improvement, business intelligence, and other related fields
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Python
- Great at communication and stakeholder management skills, working in cross-functional projects across countries
- Proven people and project manager: You have a track-record managing multi-functional projects and can achieve results through resources that do not report directly to you.
- Ability to learn and able to deliver results with high expectations on timeliness and quality
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to break down complex problems into smaller and simpler ones, and the ability to explain and communicate them clearly
- Tolerance of working in ambiguous and changing environments, great attention to detail and proactivity
- Professional proficiency level in English and Spanish
