**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**

**You will be a member of the newly created Non-Financial and Sustainability Reporting area in the Corporate Financial Reporting department (CFR). This area comprises two workstreams - Regulatory Standards incl. EU Taxonomy and Implementation of SAP sustainability solutions (SAP runs SAP).**

**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
- ** Non-Financial and Sustainability Reporting area covers two main workstreams**:

- ** Standards & Regulations**: ultimately responsible for SAP’s corporate external reporting and its compliance with regulatory requirements (according to CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, and SEC standards), including engagement with SAP’s auditor.**:

- **Support Strategic Technology**: engaging with SAP IT and Product Development to drive digital transformation at CFR in the area of sustainability.**
- ** This Finance Specialist role is allocated to the Support Strategic Technology workstream. Your primary focus areas will cover the following**:

- **Improve SAP's external sustainability reporting process by automation**:

- **Prepare SAP's reporting technological infrastructure for upcoming changes in sustainability reporting**:

- **Closely collaborate with Product Development, SAP IT, and SAP Consulting Services**:

- **Act as a business partner for field finance, CFOs, executives, and other leaders by showcasing SAP runs SAP**:

- **Interact and exchange with customers and peers in the area of sustainability reporting and engage in co-innovation**:

- **Coordinate and prioritize business requirements for the implementation of Sustainability solution directly with IT department**

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**

**Required skills**
- ** University degree in business administration, accounting, or sustainability management (Ph.D. is a plus)**:

- ** Basic knowledge of sustainability reporting regulations such as CSRD/ESRS, SASB, TCFD, ISSB**:

- **Experience in project management, coordination and orchestration of corporate external reporting**:

- ** Excellent knowledge of English (German knowledge is a plus)**:

- ** Experience in analyzing, interpreting, and commenting on national and international legal requirements preferred**:

- ** Hands-on attitude and focus on problem-solving**:

- ** Strong team player**:

- ** Interest in Digital Finance with a focus on automation and standardization**:

- ** Basic knowledge of Agile Principles and Values**

**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- ** Preferred 1+ years practical experience in the area of external reporting, sustainability reporting, integrated reporting, accounting or a related area or auditing of non-financial information (experience in a Big 4 audit firm is a plus) and practical experience in managing projects**
