EHS Specialist - Latam

We are seeking a passionate and experienced EHS professional to support and elevate our environmental, health, safety, and wellbeing programs across LATAM sites. This role is key to driving compliance, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring alignment with global standards. Key Responsibilities:
This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:
- Share EHS&W best practices and lessons learned across regional sites.- Align site-level EHS&W objectives with corporate goals and priorities.- Lead and support investigations of reportable and potentially serious incidents (pSIF), ensuring root causes are addressed.- Champion risk assessment methodologies and support corrective actions from audits and inspections.- Promote behavioral safety and drive cultural improvements across the region.- Collaborate with Engineering SMEs and Duty Holders on high-risk programs.- Prepare and support quarterly EHS councils and monthly governance meetings.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or Industrial Hygiene.

Experience: 8+ years in EHS&W within Consumer, Pharma, or FMCG industries; 1+ year in regional EHS support preferred.

Location: This role could be based in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro or Panama City.

Skills:
- Strong technical knowledge in Process Safety, Machinery Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and Sustainability.- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.- Ability to influence and make ethical decisions aligned with company values.- Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).- Willingness to travel up to 20% across LATAM.
