**Scope of the Role**:
As the Bookkeeper, you will play an important role in ensuring the company's financial operations are streamlined and efficient. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing valuable insights that support strategic decision-making and accountability to budgetary objectives.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Verify and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Maintain up-to-date payment records and monitor cash flow for operational efficiency.
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) for timely transactions.
- Perform essential bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
- Ensure P&L statements are accurately categorized for reporting purposes.
- Hold team members accountable to budgetary guidelines and financial objectives.
- Analyze and report on the company’s financial health to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with various teams to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed on accounting best practices and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain a 13-Week Cash Flow Model for optimal financial planning.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Controller or Bookkeeper, ideally within a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) setting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
