**What you’ll be doing**:

- Provides guidance on all employee relations for assigned region including: performance management, conflict management & resolution, internal investigations, benefits administration, policy administration,, career development, share feedback from employee conversations and exit interviews, etc.
- Coordinates & executes HR programs such as: performance review process & cadences, goal setting, mobility, employee opinion surveys/action plans, benefit programming, etc.
- Will be the LATAM point of contact for the Social Circle (social employee committee) that plans and executes employee fun events. Will be expected to manage budget for LATAM Social Circle and report results monthly to NASA Social Circle leader.
- Ensures consistency of best practices and company rollouts across region.
- File, process, verify and maintain documentation as needed.
- Administers off-boarding processes and actions. Partners with the payroll team to ensure employee offboarding is properly paid, on time. Conducts exit interviews and partners with managers on trends providing relevant information, follow up and guidance to required managers. Works ith managers to develop action plans to proactively mitigate turnover.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with Sr. HR Manager to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, mitigating legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Reviews benefit offerings on a cadence and makes recommendations to the Managing Director and Sr. HR Manager on more competitive benefit offerings.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. May assist in the development of policies and job descriptions.
- Identifies management, soft skills, HR related and/or compliance training needs for region. Will be responsible for facilitating soft skills and new manager training in region as needed.
- Provide local expertise/guidance to LATAM recruiter and Compensation Manager as needed.Assist HR Manager with project work including mergers and acquisitions as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Must be tri-lingual in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
- HR Experience in multiple LATAM countries and knowledge of employment/labor law and practices in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and/or Mexico is highly preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in scope or direction and be flexible to adopting changes quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work fast under deadlines.
- Business acumen to provide effective support.
- Demonstrated success developing key relationships across various levels of leadership to effectively influence decisions.
- Working knowledge of HR policy, procedure and federal, state & country laws regarding employment practices for assigned region.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and willingness to take initiative to solve complex problems.
- HRIS software experience.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree required in HR or another related field.

**Travel**:

- 15%. Will be required to visit other offices in LATAM as needed.
