**Operations Analyst - EDI Controls (Buenos Aires, AR - Remote/Hybrid)**

**About the Role**:
The purpose of the Operations Analyst is to perform daily production tasks in support of utility transaction management for Hansen’s retail energy and utility clients.

The Operations Analyst is responsible for research, detailed analysis, communication, project assistance, and overseeing the daily tasks of the Operations team to enhance the customer experience through innovation and teamwork. The individual will also monitor daily control data to ensure accurate transaction processing and identify and reconcile any discrepancies.

**About you**:
To excel in this role and at Hansen Technologies, you should possess strong analytical skills, be proactive, and communicate effectively with team members. This position involves managing daily transaction management operations and assisting in the implementation of strategic objectives.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Research and resolve Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) exceptions
- Monitor controls and investigate when the control counts do not match
- Complete and verify client requests
- Identify system issues and initiate requests for resolution
- Provide input to design and perform testing for system enhancements
- Perform testing activities to onboard new trading partners
- Perform analysis in support of customer-related issues
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely fashion
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis to review open issues and requests
- Communicate with client’s trading partners
- Modify procedures in accordance with business practices
- Participate in Project work as assigned

**Your Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Willingness to assume personal responsibility to achieve team goals

**Nice to have Qualifications**:

- Four (4) year degree in business or technical field or 5 years of relevant experience in transaction management is required
- Five (5) years experience in the U.S Retail Energy Supplier industry
- Knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
