We are looking for a data engineer with Python, Comlex SQL queries and ETLs skills for an international client.

Primary Skills:

- ? 5+ years of experience working with SQL development, Python, mapping business logic to ETL
- code
- ? Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, ability to work independently as well as ability to work
- within a team

**Responsibilities**:

- ? Data Mapping and Design: You will work with the business and technical teams to understand the
- existing data schema and design a new schema in BigQuery that can handle the migration from
- QlikView to BigQuery.
- ? Data Extraction and Transformation: You will be responsible for extracting data from QlikView
- and transforming it into a format that is compatible with BigQuery.
- ? Data Integration: You will be responsible for integrating the transformed data into BigQuery in a
- way that allows for efficient and effective querying and analysis.
- ? Data Quality: You will be responsible for ensuring that the data in BigQuery is of high quality,
- meaning it is accurate, complete, consistent, and conforms to the required data standards.
- ? Performance Optimization: You will be responsible for optimizing the performance of the data
- pipeline to ensure that data is processed and made available for analysis in a timely and efficient
- manner.
- ? Documentation: You will be responsible for documenting the data migration process, including
- the data schema, transformation logic, and integration approach.
- ? Testing: You will be responsible for testing the data migration process to ensure that it is working
- as expected and that the data in BigQuery is consistent with the data in QlikView.
- ? Overall, your role as a data engineer in a project with migration from QlikView to BigQuery is
- critical to ensuring that the migration is successful and that the data is of high quality, accurate,
- and accessible for analysis.
