Senior Financial Controller

**Job description**

We are an online e-commerce of cosmetics, working with this industry for 10+ years, having a team of 40 people worldwide. We do not produce our own products and we do not do marketing. Our business is that of Research, Programming, Data mining, Supply Chain Management, and understanding margins and returns.

Our company has grown 3 times in the last 2 years, yes, we are 9X bigger than we were 2 years ago. We are different from most E-commerce companies, we do worldwide distribution of products mainly focused on marketplaces. We sell mostly on Amazon, Walmart, eBay and are looking to expand globally. Our team has grown to 30 people strong in 9 countries all working remotely at flexible hours. Our strength is in data analysis to find the right opportunities, and then efficient operation & logistics capabilities to sell products internationally. However, our main strength is our people, without them nothing is possible. With growth comes complexity, and we are looking for energetic and committed specialists that can help us increase operational efficiency in order to accommodate more workflow within the operation demand. **Now we are hiring a new Senior Financial Controller.**

English: C1 level with the ability for communication and understanding instructions and Spanish: C1 to B2 level

Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Finance (Financial Management, Audit, Financial Controlling)

Higher Education in Finance, Economics

Experience working with Quickbooks and other common mid-market accounting systems

Excellent Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, offset, match) / MS Office/ Google Sheets.

Preferable knowledge of Macros/ VBA

High level of self-organization and control

**As a part of a company, your responsibilities will be**:

- Preparation, Management and Updating, Vital Financial reports required by the company with the help of Accountant(s)
- Income Statement Report, Balance Sheet, Change In Cash Flow, Trailing Twelve Month, Out Year Projection
- Ability to set exact KPI's and Data Sets that allow the company to monitor, project and act strategically
- Supervise accounting for 2 companies (with the possibility to add 1-2 companies more)
- Bookkeeper management
- Maintain relationships with outsourcing accounting companies and banks, suppliers
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual for accounting policy, finance procedures, and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures
- Monitor and maintain controlling procedures by implementing new internal policies and procedures in the finance department
- Guide bookkeeper and other staff by answering questions and coordinating informational flows
- Play a vital part in the company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties
- Prepare necessary ad-hoc analytical reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles

**We offer you**:

- Probation period 09:00 am to 05:00 pm CET with at least 5-6 hours overlapping with CET time Zone (Monday - Friday) Post Probation - Flexible working hours having a minimum of 2 to 3 hours of management working hours in CET Time Zone of 09:00 am to 05:00 pm
- Competitive monthly salary of 1500 - 2 500 USD (including 13th salary)
- Bonus (200 USD) after probation period (depends on individual performance and decision is made by the management)

The job is full time, 40 hours a week. A 3 months trial period is envisaged for this position.

**Salary**: $28,000.00 - $35,000.00 per month
