Finance Analyst

**Responsibilities**

The Finance Analyst prepares, reconciles, analyzes and reports PMO revenue, contracts, projects, and associated metrics. Produces financial and other business analyses, interpretation, and investigation of data for operations for assigned projects and contracts. Ensures all reporting activities are accurate and prepared within established timelines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepares monthly project level actual versus budget/forecast variance analysis as well as monthly
- Coordinates monthly forecasting
- Creates and maintains Purchase Orders (POs) for PMO 3rd party vendors in Great Plains (GP)
- Supports audits of assigned programs
- Meets established deadlines
- Serves as a key contact point for interpretation and investigation of financial results in assigned area
- Runs project level reports in order to assist in the investigation of anomalies and unusual trends
- Reviews executed Work Orders and Change Orders
- Attends project meetings as applicable to support assigned areas; attends project kick-off meetings to capture and process relevant data for set up of newly awarded projects in financial systems and reporting schedules
- Executes miscellaneous projects such as assessing changes to processes; assisting in new system implementations and testing; analyzing unique financial anomalies; supports PMO Finance continuous improvement initiatives
- Provides basic financial insights
- Monitors the overall health of assigned projects
- Execute responsibilities with periodic oversight and occasional support while maintaining high quality and productivity

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, related field, or equivalent experience
- Project accounting experience in professional services preferred
- 3+ years of related finance experience required
- Demonstrated competency at thoughtful analysis and problem solving
- Experience and proficiency with corporate accounting systems/software
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word (intermediate), Excel (advanced), PowerPoint (intermediate), Access (intermediate))
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent financial, communication, and interpersonal skills are as well as a high level of personal motivation to achieve
- Demonstrated ability to work with confidential and sensitive data
- Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
- The drive for self-development, the ability to collaborate, and an action-oriented work ethic
- Advanced level of English
