The Language Doctors, Inc. is a leading provider of high-quality language services, specializing in medical and life sciences content. We are committed to excellence and seek passionate individuals to join our full-time remote team as a **German Quality Transcription Reviewer**.

**Role Overview**: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced German Quality Transcription Reviewer to ensure the accuracy and consistency of our written transcriptions. The role focuses on medical and life sciences content, requiring a deep understanding of quality management principles and medical terminology.

**_ Key Responsibilities _**
- Review transcribed German MS Word files to ensure the highest standards of text accuracy
- Identify and correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and style errors
- Adhere to the source document format to maintain alignment with formatting standards
- Ability to rewrite blurred text which is garbled during OCR conversion
- Help in transcribing handwritten text
- Maintain detailed records of quality reviews and share insights with stakeholders
- Identify areas for improvement and propose effective solutions to enhance the quality
- Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new developments
- Work closely with team members to address challenges and implement process improvements

**_ Qualifications _**
- German Abitur or General School leaving diploma (Realschulabschluss + Ausbildung)
- Experience in reading German medical handwriting (medical secretarial experience or an education in any medical field is ideal but not required).
- Native-level proficiency in German and strong command of both written and verbal English.
- Proficiency in Office 365; familiarity with SDL Trados.
- Prior experience in the medical and life sciences fields is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and time management skills
