Social Media Director

This role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as the director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and manage social media staff to drive brand engagement and business growth.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing and branding goals.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the social media team, ensuring clear communication of goals, performance metrics, and best practices. Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Content Creation & Curation: Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Brand Voice & Messaging: Ensure consistency in the company’s voice and messaging across social channels while maintaining brand integrity.
- Campaign Management**: Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising, with the objective of increasing brand awareness, driving traffic, and generating leads.
- Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) for social media, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, PR, design, and product teams to ensure alignment of social media strategy with broader business objectives.
- Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Stay updated on emerging social media trends, tools, and platforms, integrating new technologies and ideas into the company’s strategy.
- **Crisis Management: Respond to social media crises in a timely and strategic manner, maintaining brand reputation and integrity.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in social media management for mid-size or larger companies.
- 2+ years of experience managing a team or department.
- Proven success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and business growth.
- Hands-on experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Strong knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with paid social media campaigns and budget management.
- Experience with influencer marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and content marketing.
