PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:
- To drive and implement profitable and sustainable growth with wholesale accounts for our brands while enhancing the shopper experience at point of sales. To lead and develop the wholesale organization according to the leadership framework to ensure the best team in the sport industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive financials targets and Kpis for WHS team to ensure profitable growth
- Create channel strategy in alignment with country GM and management team / direct stakeholders to reach expected goals
- Develop strong strategic relationship with main retailers to facilitate implementation of our strategy
- Lead the wholesale team to develop people and identify talents
- Maintain the company policies, processes and guidelines at a high level to ensure compliancy in our daily processes
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to reach the expected targets
- Develop a sell out strategy and action plans with his/her team in WHS to ensure high performance standards of our brands in store
- Lead go to market process for WHS to ensure pre sale plan execution
- Lead the strategic planning for major customers (STAPs) both internally and externally to ensure smooth strategy execution
- Influence the local plan as part of the management team to contribute to the success or our company in the country
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
- WHS Sales Development, WHS VP
- Sales Directors, Market Sales Development, Heads of Customer Service, Market Customer Service lead, KA/Field/Fashion, Sales Coordination
- SCM (Demand Planning, warehouses), Credit Management
- Market support functions (OPS, Finance, Marketing, IT, HR)
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
:
- Enhanced functional skills with strong systems, tools and process knowledge in Sales and Customer Service
- Service mindset and excellent planning and organizational skills
- Proven track record of delivering versus measurable sales targets
- High leadership and managerial skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team/organization and projects in a matrix organization
- Pragmatic approach with the ability to distinguish between the level of research needed to achieve the desired results
- Highly specialized level of business acumen.
- Extensive depth of theoretical knowledge and organizational practice or expertise across several disciplines.
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree in business, ideally with sales and marketing focus or equivalent professional experience
- 8-10 years Sales and/or business development and/ or Finance experience
- 5 years’ management experience
