AECOM Argentina is seeking a Senior Renewable Energy Engineer to support a recently won project and to provide leadership and support to other project pursuits. The position to be based in Buenos Aires Argentina, to support ongoing and growing projects focused on wind, solar, waste management, green hydrogen, and ammonia.
**Profile**:
- Work with asset owners, developers, suppliers, or power utilities, leading strategic planning, developing execution practice addressing risk, cost, schedule, quality, regulatory compliance, safety, environment staff growth and corporate value.
- Collaborate with other colleagues to deliver projects, develop proposals, and deliver on client expectations, in addition to being instrumental in enabling and growing the team as we expand out project portfolio.
- The position will report to the Argentina Country Director and the LATAM Leadership team.
**Requisitos**:
**Minimum Requirements**
- Project or engineering experience of power plant developments or industrial plants from feasibility studies, concept or detailed designs, specifications development, and tender evaluations through to leading design reviews and construction monitoring.
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (Renewable Energy, Electrical or Mechanical ideal)
- Wind, solar & hydrogen energy project experience highly regarded.
- An excellent understanding of large-scale power project development and grid connection process in Latin America.
- Experience with other power generation technologies, e.g. energy storage, solar, biofuels, or hydrogen advantageous.
- Knowledge of the major generation technologies.
- Project Management Professional credential
- Bilingual (Spanish and English)
- Due to the nature of the work an Argentinian Citizenship is required.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- University Degree in engineering (Renewable Energy, Electrical or Mechanical) ideal Master’s degree in clean energy, environmental or related degree
- Professional License
- 12+ years’ experience development energy project or similar
- Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project delivery
- Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders
- Occasional travel required.
- Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
- Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management
- Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex projects
- Leads teams by utilizing advanced scientific solutions
