In this remote role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring an efficient flow of payments to our vendors and creditors. If you are an organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven individual, we would love to meet you
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Optimize financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments, invoices, and customer accounts
- Communicate discrepancies to team members, including CFO, Sales and Media buyer team.
- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
- Other duties as directed by Controller
Requeriments:
- Previous experience as an accounts receivable manager or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting processes and principles related to accounts payable.
- Proficiency in English.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office knowledge with emphasis on EXCEL, G-Suite (spreedsheets).
**Experience**
- 2 years’ professional experience working within the accounts receivable function, preferably in marketing or sales environment of more than $10M in revenue and B2B
- 2 years’ professional experience in meeting month-end/annual deadlines
- 1 year professional experience with any ERP system
- At least 1 year experience with operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- At least 1 year experience of customer service and negotiation
