**YOUR FUTURE ROLE**
The position is in the Field Finance area of SAP Germany. Field Finance acts as business partner and supports the Business (Sales Teams, M-GTM, GSI, MU-CFO) in many aspects concerning financial and accounting advice. Together with the Commercial Teams (Software, Cloud, Services) Revenue Recognition supports sales within the German Market Unit in structuring compliant deals based on SAPs IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition Guideline.
**YOU**
- are engaged in deal structuring within the MU-Germany and provide proactive advice to the business on revenue recognition topics together with the Commercial Business Champions (Software, Cloud, Services).
- actively communicate and collaborate with the business as a trusted business advisor (Sales Teams, M-GTM, GSI, Controlling).
- act as a transformation agent and partner with Sales to understand customer requirements to help, find or develop compliant solutions and facilitate a fast deal closure.
- determine correct revenue accounting of deal structures, working closely with MU-CFO, CFR and KPMG
- help roll out Revenue Recognition related topics into the business and provide appropriate knowledge transfer and ongoing education throughout the business.
- drive change and innovation actively to improve existing processes.
- balance various projects to improve the day-to-day operations of your team.
- can operate calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities.
**YOUR PROFILE**
- University degree in business administration or law with special focus in finance, preferably accounting, controlling or auditing
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders (business, auditors, Rev Rec community etc.)
- Very good German and English language skills
- Experience in revenue recognition, especially in the cloud industry, is preferable
- Two years' experience within Cloud Controlling, On-Premise or Services pricing is a plus.
