**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a professional responsible for supplier management for base/preferred suppliers. Request For Quotation (RFQ), negotiation, contract mgmt. Analysis of suppliers, competition, benchmark, spend etc. In this role you will be responsible for supplier management in line with strategy, process and KPIs for assigned suppliers. Focus on technical purchasing for processing and capital equipment projects.
The position can be based in San Fernando, Argentina.
You may be required to travel 10% of your time regionally
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
**What you will do**:
As a Senior Buyer you will:
- Drive sourcing and contracting based on business need in line with supplier management strategies
- Drives compliance to category strategy, supplier base plan, supplier management processes, contracts and best practices.
- Participates in target followup and corrective action
- Ensures correct usage of relevant tools
- Develops and maintains strong stakeholder management relationships. Communicates results and acts as a proactive Business Partner
- Works according to good practices and facilitate networking on site
- Suppliers evaluation and follow up.
**We believe you have**:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Accouting.
- Preferably experience, minimum 2 years in sourcing contracting and supplier base management experience.
- Spanish is a must.
- Proficiency in English (verbally and written).
- Experience working with other markets or regions is a plus.
- Experience in SAP or ARIBA is a plus.
