Sr. Manager, Retention Analytics

The Sr. Manager, Growth & Retention Analytics will be responsible for managing and analyzing data to extract insights for developing growth and retention strategies for our streaming business. In close collaboration with the Business, Content, Marketing, Product, and VX teams, you will analyze the impact of marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, user behavior, user lifetime and subscriber growth to identify new opportunities and challenges. Your strategic analysis and data-driven approach will be instrumental in driving growth and innovation to the Disney Streaming Family. Responsibilities - Manage large datasets through SQL/Snowflake to analyze and extract insights. - Explore and visualize data using tools like Looker, Power BI, Data Studio, Tableau, etc. - Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy when working with large amounts of data and numerical information. - Communicate findings effectively through storytelling, translating data into valuable insights for informed decision-making. - Provide analysis with insights and recommendations to cross‑functional teams for developing strategies that drive growth and innovation in our streaming services. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a high‑performing team. - Collaborative approach to foster teamwork and drive collective success. - Foster relationships with business stakeholders and colleagues, effectively managing and collaborating with them. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Economics / Finance, Business, Marketing (mainly for growth position), Statistics, Sociology, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related fields. - Postgraduate or master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, or relevant disciplines. (Desired) - Fluent in English. - Strong expertise in SQL, Looker/Power BI/Tableau, Python/R (desired), and Microsoft Excel. - Experience with large datasets and data exploration. - Familiarity with growth marketing strategies (preferred mainly for growth position). - Ability to derive concise insights from complex data sets. - Proficiently use Microsoft Excel, employing advanced techniques. - Desired understanding of machine learning techniques. - Business‑oriented mindset with strategic thinking abilities. - Effective communication and storytelling skills. - Innovative and adaptable, capable of working in dynamic environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
