Natural Resources Specialty Leader LATAM The Natural Resources Specialty Leader LATAM is responsible for the natural resources vertical across LATAM.
Demonstrates expert skills in the natural resources' specialty supporting the commercial teams.
These are hybrid roles with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our LATAM office.

What the day will look like Led & supported the development of the strategic plan partnering closely with subregions, countries, and our global Natural resources organization with the main goal of supporting and owning the execution of our strategic plan.
Responsible for supervising all strategic and tactical initiatives of the natural resources' specialty in LatAm, coordinating priorities that support growth plans.
Coordinate the execution of the Natural resources specialty plan approved for the Region/Subregions that are presented at the regional level (Latin America) or the Global leadership level, adjusting them to local reality where applicable and needed; Work with the LATAM CRS HEAD to set the strategic natural resources priorities and implement them through a broad range of team members.
Support LATAM CRS team leaders in developing, planning, and supervising critical initiatives for key natural resources.
Client Excellence Building personal and company brands and transparency in the market;Supports the country champions for natural resources specialty revenue growth in the respective markets;Oversight and input into the region's largest clients and new business opportunities related to the Natural resources Specialty;Builds a strategy and implements the plan to accelerate the closure of the largest opportunities;Connects with AON´s natural resources specialty guides to bring standard methodologies to LATAM;Develops and performs a natural resources specialty marketing plan that demonstrates key events e.g.
insight series with the support of the Marketing team;Provides updates for the intranet specialty site, contacts, content, thought leadership, etc;Meetings with top 5-10 clients and prospects yearly.Broking Excellence Influence and oversight of specialty clients in the region - placement, rollover/retention;Develops and maintains collaboration and working relationships with broking, SAMs, AEs, the GBC teams, AGRC, Claims teams, and the Central Broking team;Is part of and supports customer concern processes with Clients and Risk Carriers;Dealmaker skills, drives and supports innovation.Team Excellence Has a country specialty champion network and is working towards the agreed goal;Monthly calls and regular in-person meetings with the in-country network to enable communication, share initiatives, and innovative solutions, craft a community feeling, and build trust;Scales through the 'Natural resources Specialty' content, insights, client wins, etc.Operational Excellence Ensure the 'specialty business plan' is completed as planned with the agreed timelines;Chip in and connect with global peers and guides where applicable.Skills and experience that will lead to success Deep understanding of the business environment in Latin America, trends, and macroeconomic factors impacting our business;Prior exposure to P&L management and proven financial foresight;Ability to communicate and connect easily; and to deal with complex, ambiguous, and constantly evolving situations;Results oriented;Driven and motivated, with an ability to show initiative in all situations;Analytical capabilities and critical thinking to drive strategic insights to improve the business;Great teammate, able to identify required skills in an inclusive team with varied strengths distribute workload accordingly, and supervise progress;Educated to university degree level;Excellent written and verbal communication skills;Proficient in Spanish and English;Relationship capital: Builds and maintains deep client relationships at the executive level across multiple buying centers, and uses that capital to understand objectives, influence client thinking, and build results;Consulting skills: Identifies client needs and clearly articulates the problem to be solved; recognizes challenges and barriers to solving them and assembles internal resources to achieve the desired client outcome;Upholds and demonstrates Leadership values;Creative, innovative problem solver able to translate strategic concepts into proven business executable growth opportunities.How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
