Welcome to Mercedes Benz Korea
We are seeking a Van Sales Manager to drive the profitable growth of our VAN business in Korea. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive business case and conducting thorough market, competitor, and segment analyses. You will implement the best product and sales strategies to effectively penetrate the Korean VAN market with our Mercedes-Benz Van offerings, ensuring our position as a leader in this segment. Your responsibilities are:
Business DevelopmentSet-up and manage business structure and strategy of Mercedes-Benz Van SalesDrive business partners (e.g. Bodybuilder) to maximize sales opportunities to achieve positive volume and sales growth by providing accurate quality, timely and reliable supportExecute sales negotiations and consultancies regarding vehicle, price, financing, and terms of deliveryReport all figures including sales, revenue, and expenses as well as realistic forecasts to the managementMarket analysis/study highlighting MB Van market potentials for continuous growthIdentify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition trends.Ensure the compliance process for bodybuilder (e.g. Due Diligence & Framework Agreement)Product & MarketingDevelop a product strategy to maximize product-market fit.Manage new/changed model specification in due time prior to launch of vehicle under recognition of mid-/long-term effects, competitors, and other productsInvestigate new opportunities to further strengthen customer-oriented product positioningAnalyze market and competitors' action and derive proposals for appropriate countermeasureManage product price by initiating pricing plan under recognition of given price-/premium-/profit-guidelines to ensure maximization of market acceptance and profitable growthIn charge of marketing budget and allocate wisely for marketing campaigns and/or measures that are fulfilling its purposeManage communication channels that attract and appeal to the target customer groupsEstablish monthly/quarterly/yearly sales plan and achieve sales targetEnsure sales targets are metManage and control all sales flow including contracts and documentation and ensure fulfillment of terms and conditionsEnsure fulfillment of vehicle orders and check data accuracy in orders and invoices from the HQ and toward the customersEnsure compliance with customs clearance policy and guidelineManage optimal level of stock and streamlined supply & logistics flowManage vehicle, sales and customer records to be in sound conditionDevelop monthly sales reports and report in timely and appropriate mannerTeam ManagementMotivate and support team members to perform at their bestSuccessful co-ordination of tasks between team membersProvide training course and support their career development by nurturing with skill-set improvementQualificationsEducation Experience Over 10 years of experience in the Automotive industry
Understanding of the business structure of automotive sales at retail level and experience of managing customers directly in a B2B sales environment
Experience of leading a team
Specific knowledge English proficiency in business context level is a must
Sound knowledge of the automotive business, especially in the Van segment
Excellent task and conflict management skills
Professional Knowledge in import automotive wholesale, retail, product, marketing management
