Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team in BA, Argentina. Reporting to the Head of Legal for Americas, the successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support to both Signify Argentina and the South Latam region.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, including distribution and agents' agreements, product supply and service agreements, strategic collaboration agreements, turnkey agreements, and procurement agreements.
- Legal Counseling: Provide legal counseling and commercial contracting advice on sales and marketing activities, customer agreements, private and government tenders, and distribution channels.
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor regulatory changes and advise on compliance and regulatory issues, including data privacy & product safety laws, public tenders laws, anti-corruption & anti-bribery laws, antitrust law, export controls, and others.
- Marketing and Advertising Review: Review marketing and advertising materials to ensure compliance with legal & regulatory standards.
- Claims and Litigation Management: Manage claims and litigation, including directing outside counsel and scope of activities.
- Training: Develop and deliver legal and compliance training to employees.
- Education: Law Degree from an accredited law school.
- Experience: At least 4+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house at a multinational company.
- Fluency in English.
- Admitted to practice as a lawyer in Argentina.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and drafting various types of commercial agreements.
