Zifo is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Application Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and configuring various laboratory scientific applications, including Sample Manager, LabWare, StarLIMS, LabVantage, Empower, and OpenLab.
Key Responsibilities- Collaboration and Configuration: Work closely with end customers to understand their requirements and translate them into specifications to configure Sample Manager LIMS.
- Design and Development: Collaborate with end customers to understand requirements and translate them into designs, and develop the desired functionality.
- Quality Assurance: Review and test components and other deliverables.
- Issue Resolution: Debug programs/components, understand and resolve issues reported post-live or during UAT.
- Configuration Management: Manage the configuration management processes.
- Technical Expertise: Possess good technical knowledge of Java or other scripting languages, and knowledge of C Sharp (C#).
- Database Management: Knowledge of databases and database concepts (SQLServer, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences or Technology.
- Background: Background in scientific field: Biology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience configuring LIMS or ELN or CDS platforms.
- Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of one or more industry domains: Biopharma, Biotech, Chemicals, Health, etc.
- Soft Skills: Independent, self-motivated & results-driven, willing & able to quickly acquire new technical skills & business principles, a critical thinker who possesses logical reasoning, curious and always looking for creative solutions to complex problems.
