Job Title: Scientific Application Analyst

Zifo is seeking a highly skilled Scientific Application Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for configuring and developing various laboratory scientific applications, including Sample Manager, LabWare, StarLIMS, LabVantage, Empower, and OpenLab.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with end customers to understand their requirements and translate them into specifications to configure Sample Manager LIMS.
  • Collaborate with end customers to understand requirements and translate them into designs, and develop the desired functionality.
  • Review and test components and other deliverables.
  • Debug programs/components, understand and resolve issues reported post-live or during UAT.
  • Manage the configuration management processes.
  • Knowledge of databases and database concepts (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences or Technology.
  • Background in scientific field: Biology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics.
  • 3-5 years of experience configuring LIMS or ELN or CDS platform.
  • Good understanding of one or more industry domains: Biopharma, Biotech, Chemicals, Health, etc.
  • Possesses good technical knowledge of Java or other scripting language.
  • Knowledge of C#.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Experience with LIMS and ELN platforms such as Sample Manager, LabVantage.
  • Understanding of Lab Information Management Systems concepts.
  • Good understanding of laboratory workflows and sample lifecycle.
  • Experience working in GxP environments.
