About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scientific Applications Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a talented professional to develop and configure laboratory scientific applications.

As a Scientific Applications Specialist, you will collaborate with end customers to understand their requirements and translate them into specifications to configure Sample Manager LIMS.

You will be responsible for reviewing and testing components and other deliverables, debugging programs and components, and managing configuration management processes.

This role requires a strong understanding of databases and database concepts, as well as knowledge of industry domains such as biopharma, biotech, chemicals, and health.

Responsibilities
  • Configure laboratory scientific applications to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with end customers to understand their needs and translate them into specifications
  • Review and test components and other deliverables
  • Debug programs and components
  • Manage configuration management processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Sciences or Technology
  • Background in scientific field: Biology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics
  • 3-5 years of experience configuring LIMS or ELN or CDS platform
  • Good understanding of one or more industry domains: Biopharma, Biotech, Chemicals, Health etc.
  • Possesses good technical knowledge of Java or other scripting language
  • Knowledge of C Sharp (C#)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience with LIMS and ELN platforms such as Sample Manager, LabVantage
  • Understanding of Lab Information Management Systems concepts
  • Good understanding of laboratory workflows and sample lifecycle
  • Experience working in GxP environments

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
