Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior E-commerce Developer to join our team in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina. As a Senior E-commerce Developer, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Product Management and business partners to ensure system capability, design, and solutioning options meet business requirements.
- Work with the Development team to ensure technical requirements and designs are understood, and best practices are followed for functionality, performance, and security.
- Contribute to effort estimates, planning, and removing technical roadblocks with project management.
- Develop key components of the system, identify reusable components, and expedite implementations and lower delivery time.
- Research platform capabilities and identify opportunities for the eCommerce roadmap.
- Perform code analysis, develop patches, and new platform modules' features.
- Participate in applicative evolutions and code reviews.
- Analyze and process incidents.
- Develop unit testing plans for the integration platform.
- Participate in the technical validation of evolutive batches' integration.
- 3-5 years of experience in eCommerce platform development, specifically on the Shopify Plus platform, with enterprise brands.
- Strong background in core JavaScript (or any popular flavor) and related front-end frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process and methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot site issues and use various tools (commercial or open-source) to trace, analyze, and resolve issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge of the Shopify Plus platform.
- Experience in designing and tuning for page performance, and knowledge of secure development practices.
- Detailed understanding of front-end caching methodologies, CDNs, and request response flow from customer to origin source.
- Upper-intermediate English level.
- Salesforce Cloud experience.
