About the Role

As a Senior E-commerce Lead Developer at Growmodo, your primary mission is to drive the development and innovation of our most complex Shopify projects, delivering exceptional client value and setting new standards in e-commerce excellence. You will be the driving force behind our technical strategy, leading advanced projects, and mentoring the development team to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide strategic technical leadership to deliver top-tier e-commerce experiences, leveraging your expertise in Shopify development, including custom apps, performance enhancements, and complex integrations.
  • Project Management: Lead the design and development of sophisticated Shopify solutions that set new industry standards, ensuring timely delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Mentorship and Training: Cultivate a skilled development team through mentorship, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Client Partnership: Act as a strategic partner, advising clients on best practices and leveraging Shopify to achieve their business goals, fostering long-term relationships and driving growth.

For this role, we're looking for an experienced Senior E-commerce Lead Developer with a strong background in Shopify development, leadership, and innovation. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects, mentoring teams, and driving business growth.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of deep Shopify development experience with a portfolio showcasing leadership and innovation.
  • Technical skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid; experience with RESTful APIs and custom app development.
  • Leadership skills: Strong leadership experience in guiding development teams and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Version control: Proficient in version control using GitHub.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying strategic and technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Continuous learning: A commitment to staying current with e-commerce trends and Shopify advancements.

Salary: $90,000 per year, based on the location and the complexity of the role.
