Director of Operations Role

The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the commercial, financial, and operational performance of multiple locations across South America. This role requires a strong leader with full P&L responsibility, the ability to drive operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the regional market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Strategy: Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance and drive regional growth.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee P&L, implement cost-control measures, and maximize profitability.
  • Talent Development: Lead workforce planning, recruitment, training, and performance development.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure compliance with quality standards, process optimization, and efficiency.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to enhance brand visibility and revenue growth.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional service and foster community engagement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, including health, safety, and operational standards.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a senior operational leadership role, preferably within the hospitality, retail, or multi-unit management industry.
  • A proven track record of managing P&L, driving operational excellence, and achieving financial targets across multiple locations.
  • A strong understanding of the South America markets, including cultural, economic, and regulatory nuances.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development and employee engagement.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • An advanced understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in using operational software systems and technology to drive efficiency.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
  • A cultural fit with the company's values and mission.
