Monks is expanding its creative capabilities, seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead award-winning campaigns across various disciplines. This role requires a conceptual thinker who can generate innovative ideas, direct projects from concept to execution, and collaborate with a global team.



This key position will work closely with clients, building strategic thought and creative ideas that drive lasting impact. As part of our team, you'll be part of shaping a new breed of creative agency with cutting-edge digital, social, technology, and production expertise.



Key Responsibilities




  • Steer the creative direction of one of our largest clients, collaborating with creatives, copywriters, designers, animators, developers, and project managers.
  • Develop concepts across innovative products, working across teams and time zones.
  • Client-facing and co-owning client relationships, pitching and presenting directly to clients, shaping and selling concepts, and overseeing high-velocity production work streams.
  • Manage multiple work streams, ensuring all deliverables meet world-class standards.
  • Create concepts that exceed client expectations, working with designers to produce beautifully designed decks aligned with project objectives.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, pushing creative and technical boundaries.
  • Lead projects from conception to completion, meeting deadlines.
  • Forecast production and concepting issues, providing solutions to future problems.
  • Develop a holistic understanding of clients' partners, tech, and creative, crafting flexible concepts for various partnership opportunities.


Requirements




  • Fluent in English for presentation and communication skills.
  • International experience in an English-speaking environment.
  • Strong presentation skills to impress clients.
  • Ability to run creative parts of pitches or projects independently, recommending resources and technology needed for assigned projects.
  • Impressive conceptual outlook and ability to produce original ideas beyond the brief.
  • Proven experience creating effective concepts for display ads and social campaigns, using film, animation, and imagery.
  • Confidence in working with high-end brands, seeking high-quality projects and handling tight turnarounds.
  • Ability to collaborate at a distance, successfully working with global teams.
  • Maintain a positive vibe, inspiring coworkers to go the extra mile.
