About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated E-Commerce Strategist Sr to join our team at VML South Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive sales and increase brand awareness for our beauty brand clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans that drive sales and enhance brand visibility for our e-commerce clients.
  • Conduct Market Research: Analyze consumer behavior and market trends to identify opportunities and develop targeted marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Data Team: Work closely with our data team to align strategic recommendations with gathered insights and drive business growth.
  • Ensure Brand Consistency: Ensure that all brand narratives and content strategy are consistent across all digital platforms.
  • Identify Key Platforms: Identify key platforms and virtual communities where our target audience is located and develop strategies to engage with them.
  • Monitor Competitor Activity: Monitor competitor content and market trends to generate new content ideas and stay ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • Experience in E-Commerce: Proven experience in e-commerce marketing and a strong understanding of digital marketing tactics.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and information and make informed marketing decisions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey ideas and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven project management skills to handle deadlines and deliverables.
  • E-Commerce Platforms: Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing tactics.
  • Beauty Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the beauty industry and consumer behavior.
