Job Title: Operations Director

Location: Remote

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST

Additional Availability: Occasional Saturdays required to oversee field operations and support sales representatives. Friday PM is light

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Director who thrives in a fast-paced, non-traditional work environment. This role requires a unique blend of mental agility, proactive problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the Roofing Industry. You will be responsible for scheduling, dispatching, and overall management of day-to-day operations, ensuring that our projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Optimize Daily Operations: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of teams to various job sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure Operational Efficiency: Oversee the management of CRM systems and leverage data to inform decision-making, driving business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Foster a positive, energetic work environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Develop and Maintain Project Schedules: Create detailed project schedules, including administrative tasks and all sites being worked on, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Respond to Changes: Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changes in the business environment or project requirements, ensuring the company remains agile and responsive.
  • Provide Leadership: Guide a small, tightly-knit team through rapid growth phases, providing strategic direction and support.
  • Maintain Discipline and Organization: Manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously, maintaining high levels of discipline and organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as an Operations Director, ideally within the Roofing Industry or a related field.
  • Strong Organizational and Leadership Abilities: Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for proactive problem-solving.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience managing CRM systems and comfortable with numerical data, with a strong aptitude for analyzing data and generating actionable insights.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment, not limited to the traditional 9-5.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Highly collaborative spirit, with the discipline to handle multiple tasks in a fast-growing company setting.
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Quantitatively inclined, with a strong aptitude for analyzing data and generating actionable insights from numbers.
