- Perform benefit and contract renewals, including analysis and proposing changes, to ensure they are competitive, compliant with regulations, and cost-effective.
The Benefits Administration Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery of employee benefits. This includes managing the enrollment process, developing and distributing benefits communication, and administering payroll transfers and International Mixed Service processes.
In this role, you will work closely with vendors to host engaging onsite events and partner with them to provide expert counsel on policies and benefits. You will also be responsible for managing disability cases and supporting time and leave-related activities, including schedule determination and counseling.
To succeed in this position, you must have previous experience in benefits administration, HR, or a related field, as well as experience managing vendor relationships and resolving escalated issues. You should also have knowledge of relevant benefits regulations and compliance requirements, as well as an understanding of various employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
