Job Overview

The Visa Consulting and Analytics Team (VCA) is seeking a dedicated individual to provide essential support within the South Cone region. The ideal candidate will actively collaborate with team members, vendors, and various internal departments at Visa, managing all administrative tasks and leading initiatives related to our organization.


Key Responsibilities

This role will deliver comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to the South Cone team, ensuring efficient functioning of a dynamic, results-oriented environment. The selected candidate will also facilitate logistics and operations for key activities in the South Cone region.

  • Develop insights and presentations by synthesizing diverse data sources into coherent narratives that simplify complex issues.
  • Analyze, prepare, and submit work or purchase orders from vendors while maintaining effective communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across various functional areas (e.g., marketing, sales, risk, innovation) and global/regional teams to implement projects that utilize Visa's extensive resources.
  • Examine financial reports to ensure all expenditures are accurately matched and appropriately categorized.
  • Ensure compliance with team members' initiatives, including contracts, business cases, travel, and corporate expenses, in accordance with Visa's policies.
  • Coordinate executive communications, including managing calls, responding to inquiries, and engaging with internal clients.
  • Organize meetings and appointments; secure venues and internal spaces for events.
  • Arrange and oversee travel logistics and itineraries for selected team members.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports while tracking and reporting budget discrepancies and updates for the team.
  • Maintain a systematic organization of both paper and electronic documents as per Visa's records management protocols.
  • Draft internal and external documents to support team operations.
  • Evaluate options, request proposals, coordinate events, and manage activities both internally and off-site.
  • Facilitate monthly internal meetings and events.
  • Uphold a high level of confidentiality in all matters.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess an associate degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of five years in a relevant role. Candidates should have:

  • Experience in managing budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Professionalism and discretion in all communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
  • The ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
  • A customer service orientation with a collaborative spirit.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Solid planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional project management and problem-solving abilities with a strong sense of urgency.
