The Senior Manager Finance Argentina plays a critical leadership role in maximizing business performance and ensuring proper finance decisions are made. This individual reports functionally to the VP Finance of the LAT SBU and operationally to the General Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial management of the Business Unit, interacting with local and regional leadership teams to understand market environment, including general macro-economic factors, financial markets, tire industry data, and competitors' strategies.
- Closely work with Sales & Marketing Area to develop effective pricing strategies to meet targeted results.
- Prepare Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Monthly Financial Estimates, ensuring coordination across functions for timely reviews and adjustments.
- Maximize cash repatriation to the parent company while funding country operations.
- Implement world-class working capital management, effectively interacting with other functional leaders to drive improved results.
- Risk management involves identifying and addressing business risks.
- Maintain relationships with customers to monitor their business performance and financial condition, gather market information, and enhance business intelligence.
- Ensure a strong internal control environment to maintain compliance with Company policies.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and financial estimates.
- Build organizational capability by fostering a high-performance organization.
- Attend key meetings such as the Monthly Finance Leadership Team meeting and Country Operating Committee meetings.
