Job Summary

As a Supplier Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of regional and/or local suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, supplier retention, basic contract negotiation, product and service sales, financial and business planning, and supplier reviews. You will also maintain relationships with suppliers and global teams, escalate issues, and generate revenue opportunities aligned with our global supplier program.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  2. SLA Development & Implementation: Collaborative strategies with suppliers and internal teams to enhance performance.
  3. Revenue Maximization: Identifying opportunities for additional revenue through data analysis and evaluating new preferred suppliers.
  4. Marketing: Promoting suppliers within BCD, collaborating with sales and operations teams, and developing value propositions.
  5. Administration: Supporting contract processes, preparing presentations, and managing records.

Requirements:

  1. Knowledge of financial analysis and negotiation skills.
  2. Proficiency in BCD tools (GDS/OBT/Agent POS) and MS Office.
  3. Experience in the travel industry (minimum 2 years preferred).
  4. Advanced English.
  5. Experience in account management or operations; project management knowledge is beneficial.
