Job Overview

Iris Software is seeking a talented Junior Reporting Analyst to join our team. As a Junior Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing support for various applications, including WEBI, Power BI, SSAS Cubes, SAS BRM, and other reporting applications.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage user access and resolve issues reported by users across multiple applications (WEBI, Power BI, SSAS Cubes, SAS BRM, etc.).
  2. Handle support requests primarily through ServiceNow.
  3. Collaborate with users to understand and troubleshoot issues, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
  4. Utilize basic accounting knowledge to understand commonly used fields in financial information (Business Units, Accounts, Departments, etc.) and their structure (tree and node concepts).
  5. Apply logical reasoning and basic SQL knowledge to understand report structures and data filtering.
  6. Leverage Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables), Power Query, and Power BI, to connect data sources and create reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and commonly used financial fields.
  • Logical reasoning skills and basic knowledge of SQL.
  • Desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Pivot Tables), Power Query, and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with clients to understand and resolve their issues.
